Thanks for the comment. I understand the path to be equally a part of the measurement argument. The path is a line with no width so isn't physically realistic. As soon as you add breadth to allow physics we are back to the fissure between classical and quantum mechanics. Pure mathematics grants us many more powers than physics does simply because pure mathematics isn't tethered to reality like physics is!
