Thanks for the comment! Ya, if we did flip it inside out then pieced them both together anywhere it didn’t line up would be exactly where we need to make our mathematics/physics less ambiguous. This is only a remedy though to the real problem. The real problem is that we borrowed numbers from the greeks and still don’t fully understand them and their construction.
I haven’t check out Penrose much but maybe I will because I completely agree that our box idea is wrong. We need math that constructs numbers and objects from the inside out (spherical reference frame) versus the outside in (box reference frame). I understand a coordinate system itself to be a number generator so I am trying to design a coordinate system that will keep track of physically real objects. Ironically, a triple pendulum is the perfect object pointer for a spherical coordinate system and number generator.
Hopefully, I can get to that soon since I doubt anyone is going to touch this problem until a solution is available.
